Project Scope

a silk scarf collection inspired by insects

This collection titled “Entomology” magnifies and visually dissects wondrous insects in striking unusual prints. The prints are inspired by the colours, patterns and symmetry of insects. Insects are an infinite source of inspiration. The collection shows how fragile and yet powerful nature is.

Kukka loves delicate and soft fabrics. This preference is instigated by Laura’s career start as an in-house intimate apparel designer. The wonderfully soft pure silk scarves are digitally printed in The Netherlands. They are for sale in Kukka’s online store.
