Chromarama is a pioneering series of risograph wall art that caters to people with colour vision deficiency. The work embodies colour and form studies, each with its own function for a certain type of colour blindness. The colours, shapes and textures are coordinated in such a way that the designs and colours are always visible. Chromarama Riso follows the success of the Chromarama woven tapestries and embroidery works.
Graphic colour compositions and textures come together to create an aesthetic display that not only looks beautiful but can be appreciated by all. The aim of Chromarama is to raise awareness of the overlooked role of visual limitations in design. The project is awarded a DNA Paris Design Award 2023 in the category Graphic Design: Colourful Projects.
