Record Sleeve

Project Scope

record sleeve design for a good cause

“The Violet Side” is a record sleeve design for the song “Lullaby” by Siouxsie and the Banshees. War Child has brought back the beloved Secret 7″ to provide vital support to children affected by conflict. Secret 7″ takes 7 songs from 7 musicians and presses each song 100 times on 7″ vinyl.

From thousands of submissions by creatives from all over the world, my artwork was selected as one of the 100 Lullaby covers. All 700 unique covers were exhibited at NOW Gallery in London and auctioned through Peggy. Secret 7″ 2024 raised an incredible £210,000 for War Child.

The Violet Side

Lullaby by Siouxsie and the Banshees

Immersed in the ethereal notes of “Lullaby”, the record sleeve art unfolds like a harmonious dance between the shadows of night and the illumination of day.

The graphic interpretation invites listeners to gently close their eyes and surrender to a dreamscape, where the veils between our conscious reality and reverie dissolve. It welcomes exploration into the depths of the soul, where secrets, desires and hidden emotions unfurl.
